EPMD -123 ENZYME KINETICS
QUICK SURVEY
- How important is it to know from an experimental data (enzyme-substrate reaction) if the enzyme productivity is linear with time?
- How do you determine from an experimental data (enzyme-substrate reaction) if the enzyme productivity is linear with time?
- From an experimental data (enzyme-substrate reaction), how do you determine Vmax and Km with accuracy, if the enzyme productivity is NOT linear with time?
EPMD-123 Enzyme Kinetics Module is the unique software engineered to provide instant results in the evaluation and determination of state kinetics involving multi-step (steady & unsteady) reactions. The program first characterizes an enzyme and then calculates the Michaelis-Menten constant (Km), the limiting velocity (Vmax), and Km (approximate) or effect of inhibiting agents for up to 5 experiments. In addition, the software can identify the state of an enzyme. A graphical representation of a steady state enzyme is plotted as a curve matching the experimental velocity of one generated by the software.
EPMD -123 PROTEIN QUANTITATION
An accurate measurement of the amount of protein in solution is extremely important for study involving biochemical processes. EPMD-123 (Protein Quantitation module ) has been engineered to instantly and accurately determine protein concentration in presence and absence of interfering agents, predict protein concentration at any recorded absorbance, and display standard linear curves.
