EPMD-123 Enzyme Kinetics Module
The EPMD-123 (Electronic Protein Monitoring Device) multiple function software has been engineered to provide instant results in the evaluation and determination of state kinetics involving multi-step (steady and unsteady) reactions. The program first characterizes an enzyme and then calculates the Michaelis-Menten constant (Km), the limiting velocity (Vmax), and the Km (approximate) or effects of inhibiting agents. In addition, the software can identify the state of an enzyme. A graphical representation of a steady state enzyme is plotted as a curve matching the experimental velocity of one generated by the software.
